Cabin Fever Cures
What exactly is cabin fever? The dictionary defines it as such: irritability, listlessness and similar symptoms resulting from long confinement or isolation indoors during the winter.
The phrase has also been used to describe boredom and doesn’t have to be associated with winter weather. One thing is almost certain if you live in the northern part of the United States – you’ve probably used the term “cabin fever” a time or two this winter! Seems like it has been an exceptionally long, drawn-out season, and the drastic change in temperature from day to day hasn’t helped matters.
So what can we do to alleviate the claustrophobic feeling of being restricted inside all season? All you need to do is a search the Internet for some good advice. And keep in mind, that warmer weather is on the way!

-enjoy a day free of news, newspaper, social media
-maintain contact with good friends
-exercise regularly
-go out for a walk
-eat good mood food that is healthy
-plan spring gardens and summer vacations
-volunteer
-learn something new
-begin an indoor hobby

-get plenty of vitamin D3
-undertake indoor home improvements
-head south (a personal favorite)
-shop online for personalized gifts!
