The best gifts are ones that enhance our lives in some way, add to our collection of memories, and show thought was given.
As Mother’s Day approaches and you’re scrambling to try and figure out the perfect gift for your mom, think about her interests. What does she like to do in her spare time?
Does she like to read? Watch movies? Cook? Exercise? Go on adventures?
The answers to those questions will be a great help in selecting the ideal gift for your mom.
I’m more of an “experiences” person. I prefer to spend time with the people I love, trying new things or doing things we enjoy. I’d much rather have my family together than to be given a material gift.
However, I must admit one of my all-time favorite gifts was a book, Ï Wrote A Book About You.” I’ll attach a few photos below with some example pages. It is a hardcover book with prompts, and the gift-giver fills in the blanks.
I started crying about two pages in.
The gift of your time and thoughtfulness in personalizing her day is priceless. And, because it’s from one of her favorite people, it will be perfect.
